Abstract:On the basis of summarizing and analyzing the definition methods of initial rainwater and the change characteristics of its water quality and quantity, this paper compares and analyzes the norms and standards of initial rainwater runoff management and control in China and abroad. It is pointed out that the domestic specification and standard system related to initial rainwater runoff management and control is unsound, the existing initial rainwater split-flow equipment, collection and transfer facilities are not systematic, and there is a lack of systematic research on the differences in initial rainwater pollution characteristics, initial rainwater runoff management and control specification requirements, and rainwater and flood management system. Through the investigation of the current initial rainwater collection and transfer equipment, its performance, advantages and disadvantages are analyzed. In the future, special policies should be issued for the management and control of initial rainwater runoff. Technical specifications for rainwater management and control in the aspects of comprehensive rainwater utilization, environmental protection, drainage and waterlogging prevention should be prepared. Initial rainwater should be concerned from the perspective of macro hydrology and the corresponding evaluation system should be established.
