Abstract:By constructing the evaluation index system of water resources, water environment and water ecology functions in the basin, the spatial pattern characteristics of three kinds of water functions of water resources, water environment and water ecology in the Dongjiang Basin of Guangdong Province were analyzed by using the ArcGIS natural breakpoint classification method. Spearman rank correlation coefficient was used to quantitatively analyze the interaction among the three water functions, identify the types of significant water problems in each region, and put forward corresponding management and control strategies. The results show that there are significant spatial differences in the evaluation grade spatial pattern of water resources, water environment and water ecology functions. The interaction types among water resources, water environment and water ecology functions are compatible. Based on three types of water function evaluation grades and interaction types between them, 10 evaluation units in the Dongjiang River Basin are divided into six significant water problem types: water resources, water environment, water ecology, water resources-water environment, water ecology-water environment and non-significant type.
