Abstract: Application of MextralCLX-50 in hydrometallurgy as modifier and synergist was investigated.It was used as modifier of Mextral5640Hfor extraction of copper from a high Clconcentration feed that can enhance the net copper transfer of Mextral5640H.The synergism of MextralCLX-50 in extraction of nickel by mixing MextralV10 with MextralCLX-50 was also studied.When equilibrium pH of aqueous phase is less than 5,the extraction ability of MextralV10improves remarkably.Especially,it can be adapted to extract nickel from a high magnesium concentration feed.
