Abstract: By Bayer process, removal of a part of aluminum from the waste liquid with high concentration of sodium aluminate-sodium hydroxide as the form of Al(OH) 3 crystal was studied. The results show that the Bayer process can meet the requirements of removing aluminum, the waste treated can be recycled.Under suitable temperature, using Al(OH) 3 crystals formed in reactions as seed, the reaction time is gradually extended. It is show that the seed crystal activity is gradually decreased.Using fine Al(OH) 3 crystal as seed crystal is more efficient to dealumination from the solution.
