Application of drawing simulation for automobile reinforcement upper back based on AutoformChinese Full Text

Abstract: The automobile reinforcement upper back was taken as study object,and the general steps of part drawing forming finite element analysis was introduced. Based on the CAE analysis results,some drawing defects such as fracture and wrinkling were predicted.An optimized result was gained by adjusting drawbead parameters and addendum. Through simulations,the optimum parameters of forming were obtained,which provided reference for mould optimizing scheme. In order to verify the results of finite element analysis,the actual data on part was measured. By comparison,the actual measurement results are consistent with the simulation results of CAE. Practice proves that the application of finite element analysis can predict the formability and analyze defects during the automobile panel drawing forming process.
