Abstract: Cross wedge rolling was used to study the effect of the change of rolling forming angle on the hollow-ware heals. According to the forming dimensions of workpiece, four models were established by UG software, and the difference of die among four models was the change of forming angle. Deform software was used to simulate forming process of cross wedge rolling of hollow-ware heals. Compared with simulation results, the best forming program was acquired and the changes of effective stress and effective strain for the best forming program were analyzed. The experimental results show that the rolled workpiece can reach the requirements of dimension by using the model of the best forming program. The best forming program is that in rolling process, the workpiece is turned 6. 5 circles, and it is deformed in the former 5 circles, and the forming angle increases linearly from 0°; hollow-ware heals to 3. 6°. The sixth circle is forming stage and the forming angle is 3. 6° constantly, and the 6. 5 circle is unloading stage.
