Abstract: With the two oil crisis happened on a world scale, people had paid more and more attention to coal chemical technology. Coal chemical technology can produce coal-to-liquids and hydrocarbons to replace petroleum products and supply as car fuel. In our country, traditional coal chemical technologies have matured, but generally speaking, disadvantages of these technologies such as high energy consumption and high water consumption exist. This paper summarized traditional coal chemical technologies and made a comparison with new types coal chemical technologies,points out that the development trends of new types coal chemical technologies in our country.
