Abstract: OBJECTIVE To investigate the general rules and characteristics of the adverse drug reactions cause by aerosolized aminoglycoside antibiotics.METHODS The case reports of adverse drug reactions due to aerosolized aminoglycoside treatment published over the world were searched for statistical analysis.RESULTS A tota1 of 127 aerosolized aminoglycoside-induced adverse drug reactions cases were collected,of which males showed higher incidence than females,and the adverse drug reactions were mainly dyspnea.Most of the adverse reactions improved after intervention.CONCLUSION More attention should be given to the safety of aerosolized aminoglycoside to avoid or reduce the risk of adverse drug reactions.
