Abstract: To fulfill the demands of the left-behind women, we should mainly rely on the informal social resources including the family, relatives, and neighbors. However, the support from various grassroots autonomous organizations,social groups, and relevant government departments is obviously insufficient. The left-behind women are in a passive and disadvantaged position. Therefore, the reconstruction of the social support of the left-behind women and the exercise of its subjectivity is the key to exploring the community service mode of left-behind women. The basic community service mode of left-behind women should consist of evaluating these women’s ability and demand,exploring the available resources in the changing rural community and establishing autonomous work teams at the community level which serve as a bridge to link and coordinate formal and informal social resources.
