Qualitative Research of Taekwondo Training Class at China Women’s UniversityChinese Full Text

Abstract: Based on the paradigm of qualitative research and in-depth interviews,this article discusses how the physical and psychological states of 15 female Taekwondo practitioners at China Women’s University improved after two years of persistent training focused on inner and external causes. It concludes that within training and competition the Taekwondo practitioners not only improved their physique and skill,but also cultivated tenacious,fearless willpower and improved their ability to manage frustration. These skills were also used beyond the realm of Taekwondo in life generally.
